When spring and summer meet at Lake Chelan

The magic of love is something we can all relate to. It brings us joy, happiness, and hope. Weddings are the ultimate celebration of love and commitment, and Casie & Robert’s wedding at Tsillan Cellars was nothing short of magical!

From the moment we arrived at the venue, I could feel the energy and excitement in the air. Casie was an absolute vision in her romantic lace dress from Bellevue Bridal, and her bouquet from Chelan Floral perfectly complemented the stunning backdrop of the winery. The day was filled with so much laughter and fun. These two were meant to be together – they were goofy, silly, and so in love!

As a photographer, my goal is to capture the essence of a couple’s relationship and personality. Casie & Robert made it easy for me – they were nothing but smiles and laughter throughout the day!

A Garden Bouquet for a Winery Wedding

I love that Casie went with a timeless, classic look for her floral design! Kelsey, with Chelan Floral, always does an amazing job with these winery weddings! The peach details in her white bouquet were such a perfect touch, especially at Tsillan Cellars where you have peachy, pink tones in the architecture of the venue.

The First Look At The Upper Terrazzo

There are a few different places at Tsillan Cellars where you can do a first look, and the Upper Terrazzo is one of them! I love how the light gently seeps in to give such a whimsical look! It also provides a perfect walkway for a first look that is private enough to ensure you can have this moment all to yourself.

An Unexpected Surprise for the Bride

Robert surprised Casie in the best way possible: custom-made socks with her face & their dog’s face on them! His two favorite ladies! It’s easy to see Casie was absolutely thrilled when she saw them!

A Lakeside Ceremony in Chelan

We actually really lucked out with this ceremony! Cloud were beginning to settle in and it looked like it might start raining, but instead it gave us some really beautiful overcast light! Every time I photograph a ceremony here I’m instantly reminded of how amazing this view really is! Sandy, the venue coordinator, and I have become good friends over the years and we will always step back during the ceremony and just admire together how beautiful this scene is!

Trading in Wedding Shoes for Nike Airs

Casie and Robert know how to party and know it begins with comfortable dancing shoes! During their cocktail hour, they ditched their wedding shoes for some Nike Airs as they’re something blue! How cute are these two?!

And the Rain Came Pouring Down

Right as everyone sat down to eat dinner, almost to the very minute, the rain came pouring down! Then, as fate would have it, once dinner and toasts had ended, the clouds parted and we were greeted with not only a rainbow but the most amazing golden hour light! So we didn’t hesitate to go take some sunset portraits!

My favorite moments were captured in the vineyard, where they danced and laughed together, perfectly reflecting their sweet, playful relationship. And as a wedding photographer, it was truly a joy to capture these moments – the love and the laughter that will last a lifetime.

Getting Married at Tsillan Cellars

Tsillan Cellars is one of my favorite venues in Chelan! I’m lucky enough to spend a lot of time there in the summers and I just fall in love with it more and more each time.
