Emily & Jared’s romantic waterfront engagement in Kirkland

Wow! This was a session I’ll be thinking about for a while! Love has a way of painting your life with vivid colors, so it was only fitting that Emily and Jared’s engagement took place in such a picture-perfect setting! Emily and I had planning this session for almost a year. I remember when they first booked with me, she threw out the idea of wanting to shoot at a marina. We had a date in mind and began sharing inspiration photos. I was so excited after seeing we had such a similar vision for what a perfect session looked like!

We chose Kirkland for the location, close to where her and Jared lived, and crossed our fingers for good weather! As fate would have it, things turned out even better than either of us good have hoped for! I am so excited to be able to share their engagement session now!

Toasting with Champagne from Siren Song Winery

Since so many of my couples are getting married at wineries, one of my favorite things to do during their engagement session is incorporate wine from their venue! It’s such a fun way to end a session and makes for the perfect save the date photos!

Emily and Jared are getting married at Siren Song Winery next summer, so I was able to snag a bottle of champagne from them before heading down for their session. Right as the sun was about to set, we pulled it out and the couple shared a toast with one of the most picturesque settings you could ask for!
